Artillery individuals perform fire work using firing tables, maps and other equipment necessary for fire. Fire process involves massive calculation which is very tedious work and requires immense concentration. A slight error can produce the wrong prediction and cause the target to be missed completely. To reduce this deficiency Artillery corps needs to minimize manual calculation as much as possible to efficiently neutralize a target.

The AFCS is aimed at automating the entire procedure of Fire Control Process performed by the corpse of Artillery. This involves forward observer activities and command post response, against the fire call.

The software will be accessible by all users at command post. Users will be able to get rid of huge paper work involved, and the Battery will be provided ease in responding the fire orders.
